Peter Atherton owns and operates Atherton Photographic, specializingin award-winning wedding and fashion photography. Mr Atherton studied photography in England at Plymouth College of Art and Design. Graduating in 1978, he spent the next 5 years shooting on location around the world, ultimately settling in California to establish Atherton Photographic in 1983.

Recognized as one of the top photographers in the country, Peter regularly speaks to associations and professional organizations on topics of weddings and wedding fashion photograpy. He received a Master of Photography in 1990 and the Craftsman Photographer degree the following year from the Professional Photographers of America.
